Rental Agreement for 8 Treglyn Farm Cottages.

  • CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 4 P.M. AND CHECKOUT is 9.30 A.M.
  • Sorry there is no early Check-in or late Check-out.
  • This is a NON SMOKING and NON VAPING property, this includes in the cottage garden.

DEPOSIT - A NON REFUNDABLE booking deposit of £250 is required. This must be received with your booking, which will then be confirmed.

DAMAGE/ADDITIONAL CLEANING DEPOSIT - £250. Due with final rental payment. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:

  • No damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. We expect to be informed before departure if any damages or breakages have occurred.
  • No charges are incurred due to illegal activity during the stay.
  • All debris, rubbish and discards are removed from the house and placed in the communal rubbish bin in the carpark. The cooker/oven and hob and whitegoods are cleaned and soiled dishes are left in a clean condition and put away.
  • All keys are left in the key safe and unit is left locked.

We expect the property to be left in a clean and tidy condition, as it was found on arrival. Extra cleaning will incur a £60.00/ hr charge if the cottage is left dirty and will be deducted from the deposit. All furniture (including garden furniture) must be replaced in its original position.

  • No linens are lost or damaged. Please remove all suntan lotion, wash new fake tan, and mascara before using the bed linen as this can cause damage and unfortunately you will be charged for new linen if we are unable to remove with standard washing. 
  • No early arrival or late departure.
  • Any problems are reported to the owners within 24 hrs of arrival to enable us to rectify them whenever practicably possible.

PAYMENT – The BALANCE OF RENT and damage deposit is due 10 weeks before your arrival date.

CANCELLATIONS

Refunds are as below: standard terms

  • Up to 10 weeks - no cancellation charge. ( Deposit non refundable- we will always aim to rebook following a cancellation. Where this is possible we will refund a deposit, less a £50 admin fee)
  • 8-10 weeks - 50 % of rent refunded
  • 6-8 weeks - 25 % of rent refunded.
  • Less than 6 weeks - no refund.

Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.

This booking is refundable in full if we are unable to offer accommodation due to Covid 19 local restrictions ( Cornwall )or National Lockdown. We will offer to move bookings or refund rental and deposit.

Please note. We will be following all government guidelines and require guests to do the same. We will adhere to updates should they occur.

If we are able to provide the reserved accommodation, but you are unable to travel for any reason ,our standard cancellation policy applies. We will NOT offer refunds in this case.

We reserve the right to update this in line with Government and local guidance.

We strongly urge you to organise travel insurance for other events which may affect your holiday. This is now available for Covid.

We reserve the right to cancel a repeat booking if contract terms of the previous stay have not been upheld, at any point.

MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a three (3) night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate.

INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen setup. Facilities fees are included in the rental rate.

NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We require you to bring towels.  We do not permit linens to be taken from the property.

RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.

FALSIFIED BOOKINGS – Any booking obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. Only the guests listed in this contract are permitted to stay in the property and sub letting to another party is forbidden and will be seen as a break in the contract.

WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. Changes of notified guest occupancy must be provided.

PARKING – Parking is limited to two (2) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.

WiFi - We are unable to accept responsibility for personal devices connecting with the WiFI. Should a fault arise with the connection, we will inform our provider and endeavor to resolve as soon as practically possible.

DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged accordingly.

CHILDREN - we welcome children of all ages, but do expect them to be supervised at all times in the property and grounds.

Please allow access to the grassed areas when cutting is required.

Please inspect the highchair and stair gates before using. Whilst they are maintained, it is guests responsibility to ensure correct usage and operation.

The owners may on occasions need to access the property to rectify problems or may nominate a named tradesperson if required.

ELECTRIC VEHICLES Strictly no charging of Electric Vehicles from the cottage electricity supply. We do not have a specific charging point and the domestic supply is unsuitable and will invalidate our insurance and potentially cause damage.

Please read below our access and disability statement. We are always very happy to answer any questions so that you can establish if 8 Treglyn Cottages is suitable for your needs.

If you have any special requirements or medical needs for either you, your fellow guests who you are booking on behalf of that you feel may not have been clarified by the text or photos on our website or the below access and Disability statement, please email us prior to booking. We will be able to answer any questions and help you establish if our cottage is suitable for you. We will try to make any reasonable adjustments we can but it may not be possible to accommodate all your requests/requirements. In those cases it is your decision if you feel 8 Treglyn is suitable and wish to book. We will not be held liable if you discover on arrival that the house is not suitable for your meeds.

  • Distance from parking to front door is 15 meters.
  • There is one step into the property.
  • There is a staircase with 11 stairs to the first floor.
  • The bathroom is on the first floor and has a large walk in shower.
  • There are no modifications or handrails within the property.
