Enjoy the great outdoors...

Treglyn provides a beautiful rural location just a few minutes drive from stunning beaches at Polzeath, Rock and Daymer bay. Enjoy the outdoor lifestyle and learn to surf at Polzeath or wakeboard in the Camel estuary from Rock.

Beaches are clean and have lifeguards, so book a surf lesson, grab a wetsuit and plunge into the water.

Bring your own boat and launch from Rock or hop on one of the Sea Safaris and put out to sea to see seals, puffins and Dolphins. Grab your rod and head out on one of the many fishing trips.

For the more adventurous, try some coasteering, jump from a cliff and swim into caves, or learn to Paddleboard or Kayak : there really is something for all the family. Mountain bikes are available for hire and a lovely sunny afternoon can be spent cycling along the Camel Trail to Padstow.

For the little ones there are miles of safe unspoilt beaches, just waiting for sandcastles to be built!

Head to the wonderful National Trust coastal paths, walk around the famous Rumps, stomp to Stepper Point or head to Port Isaac from Polzeath for a bracing walk followed by lunch in the village !

Follow your noses to the wonderful Eden Project where you can see one of the many exhibitions, attend a musical "Eden Session" and marvel at the Temperate and Tropical biomes.

Find Doc Martins house in Port Isaac and follow it up with a visit to one of its many famed fish restaurants.

Sip wine and discover the delights of locally made wine at Camel Valley Vineyard, treat yourselves to some bubbly !

Hop on the Rock Ferry to Padstow and spend an afternoon wandering around this famous fishing village where you can sample a Choughs Pasty or have lunch at one of Rick Steins resturants.

For some excitement for small children , head for Holywell Bay fun park or Flambards theme park. Meet the animals at Camel Creek Adventure Park and Newquay Zoo or try out the Waterworld fun pool in Newquay for a great wet weather activity !

Become mesmerised by the Lost gardens of Heligan, wander through "The jungle", admire the renovation of the walled vegetable gardens and hike through the flower meadows.

Visit one of the many local National Trust houses and gardens, all within an easy drive.
